House of Shaded Spaces Inc. serves young men ages 18–21 transitioning from foster care or qualifying system involvement in Fresno County through approved referral pathways and administrative review.

Does participation require AB12 or THP-NMD eligibility?

Eligibility is reviewed based on referral documentation and program alignment. Participation may include individuals eligible under AB12 or related transitional housing pathways, subject to administrative approval and program capacity.

What is expected of participants?

Participants must actively engage in employment, education, or approved vocational activities and adhere to structured program expectations, service planning, and house policies.

How are referrals submitted?

Referrals may be submitted through County DSS, probation departments, ILP coordinators, or approved community-based partners. All referrals undergo structured intake and eligibility screening.

How long may participants remain in the program?

Length of stay varies based on eligibility criteria, individual progress, and compliance with structured service planning requirements.

Is housing permanent?

The program provides transitional housing designed to support progression toward stable, independent living. It is not intended as permanent housing.
