House of Shaded Spaces Inc. operates a structured referral and intake process to ensure alignment with AB12 Extended Foster Care standards, supervision requirements, and housing capacity. Participant placement is contingent upon verified eligibility, program readiness, and administrative review.
Who We Serve
House of Shaded Spaces Inc. serves: • Young men ages 18–21 • Transitioning from foster care, extended foster care (AB12), or related system involvement • Referred within Fresno County or surrounding jurisdictions • Seeking structured transitional housing with supervised support Participants must demonstrate readiness to engage in case management, individualized service planning (ISP), and structured accountability expectations.
Eligibility Considerations
Program placement is determined based on: • Verified referral documentation • Eligibility under AB12 or related transitional housing pathways • Behavioral readiness for shared residential living • Alignment with program expectations and supervision structure • Program capacity and staffing ratios Placement is not automatic and remains subject to administrative review.
Referral Process Overview
Step 1 – Referral Submission Referral partners submit documentation verifying eligibility and transitional status. Step 2 – Administrative Review Program leadership reviews eligibility, housing availability, and supervision capacity. Step 3 – Intake Assessment Prospective participants complete an intake meeting to assess readiness, goals, and service alignment. Step 4 – Individualized Service Planning (ISP) Upon acceptance, participants engage in structured service planning outlining housing expectations, workforce goals, and measurable independence benchmarks. Step 5 – Placement & Program Orientation Residents are placed based on availability and begin structured programming with ongoing case review.
Program Compliance & Oversight
House of Shaded Spaces Inc. is designed to align with AB12 Extended Foster Care requirements, Community Care Licensing (CCL) standards, and applicable supervision and staffing regulations. All placements operate within defined housing capacity limits, documented supervision ratios, and individualized service planning protocols. Program operations are structured to support licensing review, administrative oversight, and measurable outcome tracking consistent with state and county expectations.
